REDUCED - Avid Flyer Light Aircraft With Custom Trailer

Description:

B/C Model Avid Flyer with Rotax 532, Warp Drive ground adjustable prop., all manuals and logs, custom trailer, and ballistic parachute (not installed). Flown in 2002 and in storage since. Always hangared and in excellent condition. Built as Amateur Built not Advanced Ultralight. This means that it has passed 2 Transport Canada inspections, can fly into airports without special permission, can carry passengers (once the 25 hr fly time has been completed), and does not require the use of helmets.

This aircraft was built with the speedwing option and dual wing internal fuel tanks so it carries about 7 hrs of fuel. This is the same plane that was displayed in the Village Mall as part of a PAA aircraft display (shown with one wing folded back) and this type of plane was flown to the North Pole. The wings fold back and the complete aircraft can be towed behind any tow rated vehicle. Approx 45 hrs on engine and 5 hrs on airframe. Comes with Icom handheld VHF and stick mounted PTT. 4130 chromoly steel frame has 2 coats of zinc based primer and 2 coats of epoxy paint. Dacron fabric has UV protection powder in the paint, toe brakes are hydraulic, and I have added an elevator trim system.

Not flown since 2002 due to family and other commitments but I have video of this aircraft flying out of the Hr. Grace airfield. One owner/builder since new.
